The customs side of transport in one place

Since the UK left the EU, every consignment crossing the border needs customs declarations and safety and security data. A single missing reference – an MRN, ENS or GMR – can hold a lorry at the port for hours.

We prepare and submit declarations in HMRC systems – CDS, NCTS, GVMS and ICS2 – for importers, exporters, hauliers and freight forwarders. We check documents before dispatch, choose the right procedure and commodity codes, and the driver gets a full set of references before arriving at the port.

We work in English and Polish, on one-off clearances and ongoing contracts alike. We don't arrange transport – we handle the customs side so your haulier can keep moving without delays.

Everything your goods need at the border

Use us for a single service or for the whole customs side of your transport.

For hauliers and freight forwarders

From documents to a GMR for the driver

We prepare the customs side of the job while you focus on transport. The driver gets a full set of references before arriving at the port.

  1. 1

    You send the documents

Invoice, packing list, vehicle registration and route – by email or via the form.

  2. 2

    We prepare the declarations

ENS and ICS2, T1/T2 transit or a CDS declaration – depending on the route and the goods.

  3. 3

    We create the GMR

A GMR in GVMS with the MRNs and references linked, ready for the driver.

  4. 4

    The driver sets off

They show the GMR on arrival at the port or terminal. If there's a check, we stay in touch.

Working together

One-off or ongoing

Start with a single clearance. If you move goods to the UK regularly, we'll agree a standard way of sending documents and give you one point of contact for every job.

One-off clearance

One consignment, one declaration. Send us the documents – we'll reply with a price and a list of anything missing.

  • Quote before we start
  • No long-term contract
  • Ideal for your first shipment to the UK

Ongoing partnership

For businesses and hauliers moving goods to the UK regularly. We set up your details and document flow once.

  • Authorisation and company details signed once
  • One contact for every job
  • Pricing based on your volume of clearances

Documents for customs clearance

Usually needed for imports, exports and transit:

  • Commercial invoice (exporter and importer details, description of goods, value, currency)
  • Packing list – number of packages, gross and net weight
  • Importer's or exporter's EORI number
  • Vehicle and trailer registration numbers
  • Port of departure and port of arrival
  • Transport costs (for imports)
  • Signed authorisation for the customs agent

You'll find authorisation and packing list templates on the individual service pages.

Questions and answers

Business questions

Can’t find your question? Call or email us – you’ll find our contact details below. We’ll answer in English or Polish.

Does my business need an EORI number?

Yes. A business importing or exporting goods to and from the UK needs an EORI number starting with GB. For trade with the EU you also need an EORI number issued in an EU country.

Why does the customs agent need an authorisation?

The authorisation lets us submit declarations on behalf of your business in HMRC systems. With an ongoing partnership you only sign it once.

Who creates the GMR – the haulier or the agent?

A GMR can be created by the haulier or by an agent on their behalf. We do it together with the declarations, so the MRN and ENS references are linked correctly from the start.

Do you handle groupage?

Yes. When several consignments travel on one vehicle, we prepare declarations for each of them and combine them into a single GMR for the driver.

Can you help with HS codes?

Yes. The HS (commodity) code determines the duty rate and any licences required – we help you choose it before the goods set off.

How much does a clearance cost?

The price depends on the type of declaration, the number of lines on the invoice and how often you ship. Send us an enquiry – we'll reply with a quote and a list of documents.
